I'm still recovering from the weekend.

We started without plans, so naturally there was no pacing of events as they piled up. Dinner on Friday night with Robert and NZ guest led to drinks afterward at the Stonewall, where everyone was about three years old (not true, BTW), socializing with a mixture of twinks and prick teases. We split after a very quick visit to the Palms at one a.m., futilely (and drunkenly) chasing the night's main prick tease as we felt the hours catching up. Homeward to the spinning bed, snoring on.

Saturday started with some breakfast out, a couple of trips to the local hardware store to fill the BBQ gas tank, then my Ali torture/workout. As the evening came closer, it seemed like a good idea to 1) have dinner with Robert so we could hear his outrageous story of the previous night and 2) have our first attempt at a barbecue with the new fancy pants three burner char grilling extravaganza. Friends ozgryph, John and Jeff came over at zero notice and an all-hands-on-deck everyone does something barbecue was had. Only the weather didn't allow for outdoor eating (not rain but mosquitoes), so inside it was. yuriverse entertained indoors while I hogged the grilling duties - I was thinking I was back cooking at Pancakes on the Rocks.

Then it was Sunday, where our only plan was to attend the rude party that evening. During the day, however, there was some shopping needed for Christmas presents, shopping that is sadly incomplete. I hate crowded downtown shopping more and more. People need to get out of my way. Anyway, we got to the end of the day and went to the party which turned out to be at a house we had visited before as guests. Many willies were played with. Fun was had. But boy, were we tired.
