Another "goal" achieved for the return to Australia. Howard is out, Rudd is in, and may we stop being Bush toadies now?|
Last night we went to a party at Gary and Robert's, ostensibly for their former flat-mate Kauri's 40th birthday, but really it was an election party. Most of us cheered on the Rudd-slide and glugged down the wine. About two hours into the counting it looked pretty clear Labor had the election, and only the size of the win was open to question. At 11:30 we headed home and could hear several other election parties going on in the surrounding streets of Balmain.
So today it's another party to welcome my stepbrother's newest daughter, Giselle, to planet Earth.
