A couple of things:|
yuriverse and I are now members of the Taxi Club (Grosvenor Club, technically) up on Flinders St near Taylor Square, so now we can go in an watch the drag queen world in it's post-show wind down (or melt down if the night has been "tiring"). On a Tuesday evening it was rather underpopulated, but no matter. We're hard core, us.
Sydney has decided to be a grey, rain-slicked shiny thing today. It's a bit wet out, but nowhere near cold (to my SF-adjusted body). In a few minutes I'll start my five minute walk to the office - poor me. Yuri goes further afield today, to interview in North Sydney (two train stops away, right near the station). Good luck etc.
Last night friends Robert and Gary ate dinner with us at the hotel restaurant, and it was very nice. Eye fillet (filet mignon on the more fancified SF menus), some weird cheesy-starchy accompaniment that went wonderfully and several glasses of house plonk. Just what the doctor ordered.
